Great Britain. Angel, ND. S.2531; Fr-211. Elizabeth I, 1558-1603. Fifth issue. St. Michael standing slaying the dragon. Reverse: Large ship with upturned castles, bearing shield and cross, E and rose at sides, mint mark escallop. the Elizabethan Angel is one of the rarer varieties and is seldom encountered in high grade.
