1900 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 67 Cameo. Mostly white with a hint of golden toning near the edges. A simply exquisite Gem, the snow white surfaces on Liberty and the eagle gyrate to-and-fro with full, starbright textured luster. Against them, silvery mirrors glow. To say this is a resonant gem is to do it an injustice, since there are never enough adjectives to describe it fully. Only first hand viewing can capture the effect this delightful gem inspires in a coin collector. Were it only possible for everyone to own such a coin! But then, the mint struck a mere 912 Proofs this year. And, as long-time collectors know, a goodly portion of that figure no longer exists or, worse, is mishandled and in low Proof grades.
