Lot 119

1923, $1 United States Note. Fr-40. Among the later large size bills, the 1923 Red Seal $1 notes are extremely popular and no longer readily found in choice New condition. With close to a billion of the 1917 series Red Seals made, it comes as something of a surprise that only 81.7 million Red Seal 1923 notes were placed into circulation. Original packs of 100 were always very scarce and now most have since been distributed into the marketplace. PCGS graded Very Choice Uncirculated New, 64PPQ.
Estimated Value $600 - 750.

Realized $863
