1874-CC $10 Liberty. NGC graded AU-53. The CC mintmark is lightly struck as normally seen with this issue, though full and visible. The color is very pale orange gold. Mintage of only 16,767. Breen-6979, "Prohibitively rare above VF." The present specimen is considerably above VF and would seem to provide an unusual opportunity for the Carson City specialist or date collector. Pop 8, with 7 in 55 and just one in MS-65.
