1859-D $5 Liberty. AU-58. Very few pieces were minted this year, only 10,366 in total. This uncleaned example has traces of mint frost around the periphery and is quite nicely struck. Breen-6641, "Very rare above EF." Pop 27, with 1 in 60, 3 in 61, 4 in 62 and 1 coin in MS-65.
