1847-D $5 Liberty. NGC graded AU-58. This specimen has wonderful eye appeal. It is sharply struck with all details well defined and the remaining luster is nicely toned in golden orange. The surfaces are relatively clean for the issue with perhaps fewer marks than one would expect, and those consistent with the assigned grade. Breen-6573, "Very rare in AU". Pop 15, with 2 in 60, 6 in 61, 3 in 62 and 4 in 63.
