1844 $5 Liberty. PCGS graded AU-55. A crisp strike on this early no motto half eagle with a tiny bit of mint frost remaining within protected areas. Lightly cleaned or dipped and we note slight bagging expected for the age, type and grade, yet still an attractive specimen (PCGS # 8219) .
