1807 $5 Capped Draped Bust. Bust left. NGC graded MS-62. Well struck in light yellow color gold with all details fully defined. The lustrous surfaces are quite pleasing with faint hairlines seen only under strong magnification, probably from an old cleaning. Popular first year of the redesigned Capped Bust to Left type. NGC reports 45 at this level with 46 rated finer (PCGS # 8101) .
