1806 $5 Capped Bust. Round 6. PCGS graded AU-53. Breen-6448, type with knobbed or round top 6. All of this type have the stars arranged in a 7 left and 6 right configuration. The left side of the obverse is a tad softly struck at the back of the hat and the stars. On the reverse, there are traces of an adjustment mark coming from the left and into the center of the shield. The surfaces, which retain hints of luster within the protected areas, are relatively clean for the grade and are nicley toned in orange russet. Population of 30 (PCGS # 8089) .
