Lot 3267

Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1930. S.4037; KM-835. George V. One of the key dates of this series. Rare grade, too: very Choice Uncirculated, just a few marks away from a gem, but booming silvery luster, pretty sharp details in the shield. Not a dipped piece, but original brilliance, well set by time. Cats £250 in the Spink book but may be worth more from knowing collectors of this king. Not in an NGC slab but part of the Cheshire Collection. PCGS graded MS-64.
Estimated Value $550 - 650.
The Cheshire Collection.

Realized $690
