Great Britain. Bronze Halfpenny, 1893. Victoria Bun Head. S-3956. A lovely Prooflike Red & Brown example of the late issues of this style (which ceased the following year), sharply struck with good luster slightly toned, but mirrored surfaces. Probably bought for the collection to show the difference between a Prooflike coin and the genuine Proofs, of which the Cheshire Collection has more than its fair share. Reflective surfaces are unusual and should make this coin worth a premium. NGC graded MS-65 Prooflike.
