Great Britain. Copper Bronzed Proof Farthing, 1826. George IV Bare Head. S-3825. A solid Gem with exquisite mahogany-colored surfaces and gleaming, deep-mirror fields. No one alive today is positive how the Royal Mint applied the bronzing powder which created these marvelous-looking specimens, but the effect was dramatic. NGC graded Proof 65 Brown.
