Great Britain. Copper Halfpenny, 1827. George IV Bare Head. S-3824. Some die-breaks around the legends, as often seen on this pieces. Rare in high grade yet modestly priced. Dark chocolate in color. Hints of brick-red mint luster in the deep background. More sharply struck than most, with full detail in the helmeted head of Britannia, and also a well-detailed portrait of the king. NGC graded MS-65 Brown.
