Russia. Novodel Ruble, 1705. Bitkin-531; Diakov-90,N; Sev-185; Uzd-484. Peter I. Sharply struck on both sides with attractive light toning. The archaic style eagle has virtually full feathering. The dies used for this ruble were also used to strike the semi-unique gold specimen in this collection. Very rare this choice. PCGS graded AU-53.
