Russia. Jefimok Ruble, 1654. Reichel-715. Alexei Michailovitch, 1645-1676. Novodel strike of the first crown of Russia. Crowned Czar with sceptor on horseback. The face of the oversized Czar is remakably well struck and lifelike. Reverse: Crowned double headed eagle in an ornamented beaded square and circle. A very pleasant nicely toned example and quite scarce this choice. PCGS graded AU-55.
