Cuba. Peso, 1915. KM-15.1; Eliz-5. Popular first year of issue. The obverse (shield side) is of Gem MS-65 quality with the key and palm tree well struck indicative of the rare low relief variety, though this is always difficult to confirm. The reverse (star side) is of Choice quality, closer to MS-63. Fully lustrous with some pale russet gray toning. Rare this nice. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated.
