Young, Loretta (1913-2000) Actress who began at the end of the silent era (1929), made many successful films, earning an Oscar in 1947 for The Farmer's Daughter, then seguyed into television in 1953 with the popular "The Loretta Young Show." Two original vintage photographs, one 14 x 11 in. and the other 13¼ x 10¼ in. Hesser's imprint and "Exclusive" are stamped on the back of the first photo, with a manuscript notation, "Loretta Young - First National." Tip of lower right corner is cropped, affecting nothing. The second photo is sepia-toned and has no imprint --gorgeous!! Two youthful portraits. Loretta Young has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: one for motion pictures and one for television. These photos have been in storage for 40+ years, since Hesser's death.
