Page, Anita (1910- ?) Silent screen actress who made the transition into talking pictures, then retired in 1933 after making 34 films. Two original vintage photographs of one of the great beauties of the silent screen, both signed by photographer Edwin Bower Hesser at lower left in red grease pencil. Both photos are sepia-toned--one more so. Both were originally 16 x 13¼ in.; both have been trimmed about an inch at top, not affecting the images; one has a crease at lower left, minor blemishes on her hand and in lower right corner; both have damage to upper corners, all of which could be matted out. These are still exquisite photographs. Miss Page's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is at 6116 Hollywood Boulevard. These photos have been in storage for 40+ years, since Hesser's death.
Estimated Value $600 - 800.
