Moran, Lois (1909-1990) Actress during the 1920s and 30s. Original vintage 16 x 12¾ in. photograph signed by photographer Edwin Bower Hesser at lower right in red grease pencil. A waist-up portrait of the actress who would inspire F. Scott Fitzgerald to model the character of Rosemary in Tender is the Night after her. Some solarizing and very minor edge soiling. This photo has been in storage for 40+ years, since Hesser's death.
