Halliburton, Richard (1900-1939) Explorer and author; lost at sea at age 39. Autograph Letter Signed, n.p., n.d. (1935), 1p, quarto. Responding to a young boy, Edgar Mayfield, who asks for a personal letter and photo and shrunken skulls for his school's museum. Halliburton replies, "…I promise to send you my next collection of skulls…." A charming letter. Toning and crease down right edge, affecting nothing. A carbon copy of the boy's letter is included.
