Mucha, Alphonse (1860-1939) Czech-born French painter and illustrator; famous for his Art Deco posters. Rare Autograph Letter Signed ("Mucha"), Karlsbad, c. 1930. Written on the back of a postcard of Karlsbad, to Prof. Dr. Karel Chytil, in Czech. In part: "Greetings from our recovery in Vary. We like it here. We are having a good time and we wish it would last. We will stay here over the first and then to work again…." Postal cancellation affects a few lines of text, but signature is untouched and clean.
