Carte de Visite Signed by General Sheridan. Small, early carte de visite by E. & H.T. Anthony, from a negative by Mathew Brady, 2½ x 4", mounted on cardboard, New York, of Union Army General Philip H. Sheridan, who defeated General Lee at Shenandoah. Revenue stamp on verso. The card is inscribed below, "Yours truly, P.H. Sheridan." The bottom portion of the lithograph has been trimmed, directly below Sheridan's signature, which has not been affected and is clearly legible. Very Fine.
