Washington, George. 1st President of the United States, 1789-1797. A ½" strand of Washington's hair in an ornate golden frame. Taken from a lock originally obtained by Mrs. Custis L. Powell. A facsimile of a note circa 1845 indicates the source of the hair. Authenticated by the late Charles Hamilton world famous expert. Eleven pages of Charles Hamilton certification are enclosed. This remarkable relic is protected by a firm crystal clear poly-glass holder that can double as a frame. 11 x 14".
