Ethiopian Processional Cross. Made of coin silver, this circa early 20th-century cross is 18.5 x 23.5", weighs 5.5 lbs. and was originally situated upon a large staff to be used during religious ceremonies in the highly religious province of Lalibella. Meticulously hand-crafted out of coin silver, melted down Maria Theresa talers of the late 1700s. Very Good.
