The Godfather III. In the early 1970's, Francis Ford Coppola, with his Academy Award winning film, The Godfather, introduced the world to the Corleones. They instantly became the quintessential Mafia family, in what would become cinema's quintessential Mafia film. The saga would conclude almost 20 years later with The Godfather, Part III. Five Typed Contracts Signed:

A.) "Andy Garcia". Three pages, Quarto, n.p., September 29, 1989. The document addresses various issues of Garcia's employment, including salary, screen credit and advertising. The initialed sections deal with Gracia's credit position, agreed to be, "no less than fifth position of the entire cast" (provided Robert Duvall sign on… he didn't), and in "the size of type used to display the largest credit accorded to any other performer in the Picture in paid ads." Stapled twice in upper left.

B.)"Diane Keaton". Nine pages, Quarto, Beverly Hills, July 28, 1989. The document outlines such pertinent issues as Keaton's start date, compensation, screen credit and wardrobe. Stapled at the upper left corner.

C.) "Al Pacino". Two pages, Quarto, n.p., October 11, 1989. Here, Pacino secures his $5,000,000.00 salary, to be paid in weekly sums of $277,000.00. Stapled at the upper left.

D.) "Winona Ryder". Two pages, Quarto, n.p., July 28, 1989. With this document, Zoetrope Italia agrees, as producers, to pay Ryder a total of $375,000.00 for her services as a performer in The Godfather III, at a rate of $37,500 per week. Slightly torn at the upper left, where a staple once was.

E.) "Talia Shire". Five pages, Quarto, terms regarding her reprise of the role of Connie, Michael Corleone's sister, including start date, compensation, screen credit, advertising credit and even sex scenes. Very Good.
Estimated Value $800 - 1,200.
A unique piece in its own right, but even more so by the fact that Winona Ryder later became gravely ill and was unable to appear in the film.
