Roman Bronze Horse and Rider, 1st-century A.D. A well made bronze statuette of a prancing horse on a pedestal, finely incised, with a detachable rider resembling Herakles wearing a crown with horns, a lion-skin draped over his arm, a quiver and a patera. Beautiful glossy dark green patina. A rare and very desirable artifact. Height 4".
