Document Signed. One page, Folio, accompanied by a smaller Quarto, both partially printed, accomplished in manuscript. Mexico, September 16, 1865. An official appointment by "Imperial Order of Guadelupe" proclaiming "Manuel Zavala, General de Brigada." Certificate features two large, pronounced blind seals and is countersigned by Almonte, who was instrumental in Maximilian's acceptance for the crown. Very Good.
