Autograph Letter Signed. Three pages, recto/verso, small Quarto, written on right side of each page in vertical columns. Mexico, February 22, 1822. On Secretary of the States General stationery.

"On the indicated date to your excellency Secretary of the Dispatch to the Hacienda as follows. 'Leaving a deposit up front of $60,000 pesos in recognition of the Archpatriarch of Rosano de LaCarte, your excellency Mr. Conde of San Mateo Valparaiso, well Colonel Jose Ignacio Aguirrebergoa his right hand man, indicated to me the we are to turn over $20,000 pesos, and the remainder once the job is done, which should be soon. What I am informing you, your excellency is at the end to serve the recognition of the Supreme Regency that if present should send some one to turn in the $20,000 pesos to the Rent of the Tobacco while he sits in it & conveniently gains interest.' / And transporting our sanctity for his intelligence in response to his duty-- actively. / God bless you Mexico, Feb. 22, 1822".
