Brezhnev, Leonid. This New Year's card from Brezhnev is the first one we have seen. Rare. 1906-1982. Soviet statesman, general secretary of the Soviet Communist Party (1964-82), and president of the Supreme Soviet (1977-82).
New Year's Greeting Card Signed. One page, folded oblong Octavo, Color, in Russian, 1980, with a folded printed insert greeting on mint green bond, at the bottom of which the Russian leader has signed his name in black ink. The card depicts a colorful scene of the Kremlin in winter. Very Fine.
