1852, 1¢ blue, type IV, . Scott 9. horizontal pair, margins essentially all around, with the extremely rare Cleveland, Ohio "Paid" precancel, left stamp upper case, right stamp lower case, pair, some defects and light toning spots, otherwise about Fine, with 2004 P.S.E. certificate.
A somewhat defective cover bearing a similar pair with this precancel realized $32,500 in the 2004 Siegel Rarity Sale. It would not be surprising if this was not one of the adjoining pairs to the one used on that cover.
