1918, $2 orange red & black, . Scott 523. Original gum arrow and double plate number block of eight, fresh, full wide selvage, top right pair hinged, other six never hinged, exceptionally fresh frame color without any oxidation as often seen, F.-V.F., with 2004 P.S.E. certificate.
A very rare plate block. Sometimes years may pass between appearances at auction of this plate, especially nice ones, such as the one offered here.
