1909, 50¢ violet, . Scott 341. A very handsome and rare top imprint and plate no. 4956 block of six, original gum, four stamps never hinged, wonderfully fresh and extremely well-centered, o.g., hinged or never hinged, Extremely Fine, with 2004 P.S.E. certificate.
Quite possibly the finest known 50¢ 1908-09 Washington-Franklin Issue plate block; if not, then definitely a contender for that top position.
