Roman Empire. Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AE Sestertius, Rome mint, struck 119 AD. Laureate bust right, drapery at left shoulder. Reverse: Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and spear. RIC 562b; BMCRE 1147. Perfectly centered on fairly spacious flan. Bold strike; with very light smoothing to fields. Pleasing variegated red-brown, brown, and green patina. Very fine portrait. Extremely Fine / Choice Very Fine.
