Sicily. Syracuse. 410-405 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.0 g). Rare. Head of Arethusa left, hair in sphendone, two dolphins in field; ethnic at bottom. Reverse: Charioteer driving fast quadriga right, Nike flying above to crown the driver. SNG ANS 305. Good metal and toned. Lovely portrait, probably by a follower of Eukleidas. Very Fine.
