Lot 2440
1913-S $10 Gold Indian. NGC graded AU-58. The 1913-S is one of the rarest Indian Head eagles in mint state and choice AU examples are no walk-in-the-park either. Only 66,000 pieces were produced at San Francisco and survivors above MS-63 are almost unheard of. The present example has sharp detail and although it is a little cleaned, the coloration is rich and not dipped-out.
