Lot 2374

1893-O $10 Gold Liberty. PCGS graded MS-60. A true mint state coin and one that has its original skin intact. Rich yellow gold is vibrant with microgranular surfaces and lots of radial luster. A few minor abrasions on the obverse surfaces but this is to be expected and the coin is still choice for the grade. The 1893-O has the lowest mintage for any eagle struck at the New Orleans Mint from the 1890's to the early 20th century, only 17,000 coins were produced. Any 1893-O grading MS-63 would be considered Condition Census for the issue. Housed in an old PCGS green label, fat letter holder (PCGS # 8727) .
Estimated Value $450 - 500.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.

Realized $1,380
