Lot 2341

1874 $10 Gold Liberty. NGC graded MS-60. A scarce "With Motto" eagle struck between two of the biggest rarities in the eagles series, the 1873 and 1875. While the 1874 is nowhere as tough to locate as the aforementioned "big-boys", mint state survivors are rare. The surfaces are light golden yellow and lustrous, even across the cheek. Reverse surfaces are semi-prooflike with radial luster.
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,250.

Realized $1,150
