1882-CC $5 Gold Liberty. NGC graded EF-45. A pleasing Extremely Fine example with surfaces above average with regards to abrasions. A single old scratch is seen in the right reverse field. Dull yellow gold coloration that is a relief compared to the often seen heavily dipped examples. NGC population of 36 in this grade. A relatively available Carson City half eagle that becomes conditionally scarce to rare in choice About Uncirculated and very rare in Mint State.
