1797 Draped Bust Dollar. 9 stars left, 7 right, large letters. Sharpness of Very Good. Cleaned and retoned. A very solid and appealing example of this scarcer variety. While obviously cleaned long ago, the surfaces show no disturbing hairlines or marks. The color is a deep gray with touches of golden hues. The perfect coin for someone seeking a raw but choice example of this date and variety.
