1796 Draped Bust Dollar. Large date, small letters. . Bolender-5, Rarity-2. Sharpness of EF-40. Repair on reverse at "I". One of the more available varieties from 1796. An overall pleasing coin with only moderate hairlines. Aged gray surfaces have light golden toning to them. The problem occurs on the reverse, where serious tooling shows where someone tried to repair the surfaces around the "I" of AMERICA.
