1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. . Overton-125, Rarity-. NGC graded EF-45. Medium silver coloration with a choice, golden patina. A dull scratch is seen to the right of star 7, the only foreign obverse mark. Adjustment marks are seen from 4:00 to 7:00 on the obverse. A rarity-5 die marriage that is quickly identified by the first star piercing the lowest curl, the leaf below N of UNITED being recut and a 9-8 berry arrangement. A very solid example housed in an old NGC holder. NGC population of 1 in EF-45, 1 in AU-53 and a single AU-58 as finest for this variety.
