Stunning Cameo Gem Proof 1911 Barber Dime. NGC graded Proof 68 Cameo. Pure white surfaces with complete reflectivity are magnified in beauty by a whisper of blue, green and champagne toning. Fully struck with not even a touch of weakness in Longacre's cereal wreath. Only 13 cameo gem proofs have ever been graded by NGC and the present example is tied for the Finest Known with only two others. Stunning gem type like this 1911 Barber dime has a lot of potential and examples such as this, that are conditionally very rare, can still be purchased at reasonable levels. NGC population of 3 with none finer, tied for Finest Known. PCGS has never graded a Proof 68 Cameo example.
