Gnathian-ware Globular Pyxis with Lid. Magna Graecia, Apulia, circa 330 B.C. Black, red, yellow and white grace this pseudo-fluted pyxis. Of excellent workmanship, the cover fits the container quite perfectly today, over 2300 years later! Height: 6.5". Nicely repaired on lid and bowl.
