Cinderella Script - Screenwriter's Copy. Bound script for Cinderella, dated January 5, 1945, that was the personal property of Ted Sears, a screenwriter for the 1950 movie. Leather bound, with marbled inside covers. Sears made numerous notations in red pencil, including an entire page opposite the first typed page. He explains, "This was written to cover as much of the original 'Cinderella,' and also suggest animal characters who might aid the girl - (and reduce animation of humans). While musical numbers are mentioned, this was not laid out to a musical comedy pattern." Maurice Rapf is listed with Sears, who wrote in blue pencil, "Please return this copy to Ted or Script Library." Very fine. In addition to "Cindarella," Sears' screen credits included screenwriter for "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937), writer for "Pinocchio" (1940) and Three Caballeros (1945).
