Christy, Howard Chandler. A commemorative litho created by Christy in 1935 for the Will Rogers Memorial Fund, 28 x 19½ in., published by Tooker - Moore Litho Co., New York City. The much-loved humorist and actor, who died in a plane crash in 1935, is pictured twirling a lariat, while a beautiful lady representing America holds a laurel wreath over his head and unfurls an American flag behind him. A couple of creases at lower edges, not affecting image. Matted and ready for framing. Condition: A-.
