The lithograph has a feeling of light, movement and space, with a patina of sophisticated elegance, portrayed in cool shades of gray, purple and blue, combined with stark black and white. Robert Hoppe is a painter, draftsman, and a sculptor. He has created set designs for baallet companies and avant-garde dance troupes. He is a member of the noted theatrical guild, the United Scenic Artists, and his awards include the prestigious Desi Award in Graphic Design, and an Emmy for scenic design. His works are in collections throughout the United States.
