Marlon Brando Costume From "Desirée." 20th Century Fox, 1954. A full-length gray wool travelling cape with a large collar and an attached capelet lined with red satin and trimmed with four buttons. There is a typed "Western Costume Co." label, inscribed "No. 77-2701-2 /Name M. Brando / Chest 40 Sleeve choice# 1-2." The buttons are loose and there is fading throughout. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design. One movie still is included. From Sotheby's Planet Hollywood Sale, December 2002.
