Engraving of the House of Representatives. "Plan of the Hall of the House of Representatiaves," drawn by David H. Burr, engraved by J.V.N. Throop, c. 1835-39, 14 x 15 inches. James K. Polk was Speaker of the House when the drawing was made; all of the members of Congress are identified by name and state. The engraving is split at center, has uneven edges, and general age wear, but the information is very clear. Matted and framed to an overall size of 24 x 21 inches.
