(Kennedy Assassination). Three original oversize black and white photographs, 11 x 14 in. taken on the last day of President John F. Kennedy's life, November 22, 1963, by Fort Worth-based photojournalist Gene Gordon. These superb photographs show Kennedy at the Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the Hotel Texas in Forth Worth, just hours before he was shot in Dallas. One photo shows JFK with Vice President Johnson sitting at the breakfast table; another shows him being introduced at the podium. The third shows him at a podium in a parking lot with Texas governor John Connelly behind him; Connelly was in the car with JFK in Dallas and was badly wounded. Accompanied by a copy of a letter from Gordon recollecting how he got the photographs.
