To Sergeant John Moaney, Eisenhower's valet since 1942, and his wife Delores, the long-time family cook, thanking them for their Christmas present and wishing them "a fine New Year filled with happiness and contentment." He closes the letter, "Affectionately,"reflecting the closeness of his relationship with the Moaneys. Very boldly signed. With original envelope.
